NHEG Radio Host Shannon Williamson
My name is Shannon, and I received my bachelor’s in psychology from Christopher Newport University in Virginia and my certificate in child development from Northern Virginia Community College. I’m a member of the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity, and I’ve volunteered for the Girl Scouts as well as the Boys and Girls Club. My favorite subject in elementary school was reading, and I was very good at it! I really want to share my love of reading with young children. When I’m not volunteering, I’m either gardening or hanging out with my guinea pig.
